Job summary

Novastone Capital Advisors is seeking a senior M&A buy-side expert to serve as VP on the Investment Team, leading the full investment cycle from offer preparation through closing. The role combines direct oversight of investment professionals with hands-on execution, and is a fully remote position.

The role requires 5-7 years in private equity or related fields, a proven track record in sourcing and closing complex deals, exceptional financial modelling skills, and an MBA or equivalent advanced

Qualifications

5-7+ years in private equity, investment banking, or principal investing.
Experience in search funds or supporting search fund operators.
Demonstrated success leading and managing remote high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

Lead full investment cycle from offer to closing and post-close integration.
Oversee valuation frameworks, financial models, and deal structuring playbooks.
Prepare Investment Committee materials and present to IC.
Negotiate terms with sellers and coordinate legal, tax, and regulatory workstreams.
Represent the firm to investors, brokers, and advisors.
