Western Veterinary Partners seeks a relationship-driven Veterinary Support Staff Recruiter to attract and hire hospital support staff across an assigned region. This remote role involves travel for career fairs, conferences, and hospital visits, with local Illinois market preference.

You will partner with Hospital Managers and Operations, build candidate pipelines, write compelling postings, and guide teams through onboarding while delivering a positive candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Prior recruiting experience required.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician with leadership experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple searches.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication with candidates and hospital leaders.
• Ability to work remotely and travel for recruiting events.

Responsabilités

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for hospital support staff across your assigned region, from sourcing and screening through offer coordination and onboarding.
• Proactively identify and engage Credentialed Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, and other support staff through job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals.
• Write, edit, and maintain compelling job postings on Indeed and other recruiting platforms.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates and hospital leadership to keep hiring processes moving and deliver a positive candidate experience.
• Represent WVP at career fairs, conferences, and hospital visits.
• Coordinate support staff offers and onboarding, including drafting offer letters and onboarding paperwork.
• Maintain accurate recruiting records in the applicant tracking system (Greenhouse preferred).
• Identify trends to improve recruiting workflows and onboarding experience.
