  • Write, edit, and maintain compelling job postings on Indeed and other recruiting platforms.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates and hospital leadership to keep hiring processes moving and deliver a positive candidate experience.
  • Represent WVP at career fairs, conferences, and hospital visits.
Hospital Partnerships and Hiring Support
  • Serve as a trusted recruiting partner to Hospital Managers and Operations.
  • Advise hiring managers and interview teams on candidate evaluation, interview practices, and recruiting strategies.
  • Coordinate support staff offers and onboarding, including drafting offer letters, facilitating new hire paperwork, and serving as a point of contact.
  • Support employee engagement activities, including welcoming new team members, tracking promotions and employee referrals.
Recruiting Operations and Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain accurate, timely candidate records and recruiting activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Greenhouse preferred.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to improve recruiting workflows and the onboarding experience.
  • Support recruiting team projects and other activities as business needs evolve.
Qualifications
  • Prior recruiting experience required.
  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician with leadership experience preferred; other relevant veterinary industry experience will be considered.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple searches and competing priorities.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and confidence engaging candidates and hospital leaders through frequent phone and video conversations.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with social media, job boards, and recruiting platforms.
  • Excellent written communication, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • A collaborative approach, adaptability, and a proactive attitude toward solving problems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and travel for recruiting events and hospital visits.
