Job summary

First Advantage is seeking an Operations Specialist to support the background screening process. You will handle inbound and outbound calls for references, employment, and education verifications, and provide detailed reports to clients from a remote setting.

Strong attention to detail and English proficiency are essential. You will coordinate with other departments, update databases, and complete verification reports while maintaining high standards of accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college or 1 year of college with BPO experience preferred.
• Excellent command of English and ability to handle conversational interviews.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and internet browsers.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound calls for employment, education and other references verifications.
• Obtain verification and references information via phone, fax, mail, etc.
• Investigate and confirm reference credibility and update contact information in the database.
• Answer telephone and email inquiries from candidates and clients about background check status.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding background check status and transfer calls as needed.
• Perform data entry and complete verification reports; support client orders and workload distribution.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure accuracy of verification results.
