Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a resourceful Vendor Relations Specialist for a full-time contract. You will foster relationships with vendors, manage contracts, monitor performance, and support efficient procurement processes.

You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure goals and compliance, negotiate terms, and maintain detailed contract records while supporting audits and reporting for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of vendor management, procurement, supply chain, or contract administration experience.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience handling contracts, purchase orders, and procurement processes.
• Proficiency with vendor management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and online collaboration tools.
• Ability to interpret and draft simple contract terms and agreements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact for vendor communications and relationship management.
• Coordinate onboarding, compliance, and due diligence for vendors.
• Track performance, resolve issues, and drive improvements.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and agreements to maximize value.
• Maintain contract records and procurement documentation.
• Process purchase orders, invoices, and related documents.
• Evaluate proposals, pricing, and service quality.
• Collaborate with procurement, legal, and finance to meet goals.
