Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. is seeking a resourceful Supplier Relationship Manager for a full‑time contract role. You will manage vendor communications, onboarding, due diligence, and performance; negotiate terms; and maintain detailed contract records to support procurement goals.

The role requires strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with 2–4 years in vendor management or procurement. Remote, hybrid, or onsite work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business/related field preferred.
• 2–4 years in vendor management, procurement, supply chain, or contracts.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience handling contracts, POs, and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main point of contact for vendor communications and relationship management.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding, compliance, and due diligence.
• Track and review vendor performance; resolve issues and drive improvements.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and agreements to maximize value and minimize risk.
• Maintain records of contracts, agreements, and communications with vendors.
• Process purchase orders, invoices, and supporting procurement docs.
• Evaluate vendor proposals, pricing, and service quality.
• Investigate and resolve disputes or non-compliance with vendors promptly.
• Collaborate with procurement, legal, and finance to meet goals and compliance.
• Stay updated on market trends and supply chain developments.
• Prepare vendor reports, performance summaries, and leadership recommendations.
• Support vendor audits and ensure accurate documentation for reporting.
