Job summary

IREN is seeking a Vendor Onboarding & Risk Specialist to own end-to-end onboarding, NDAs, insurance verification, and risk screening for suppliers. You will coordinate prequalification, maintain the risk register, and ensure audit-ready records while supporting compliance across multiple stakeholders in a remote work setup.

The role requires 3–5 years in onboarding, supplier compliance, or procurement, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in vendor onboarding, supplier compliance, procurement, contracts administration, risk, or audit support.
• Experience coordinating due diligence, prequalification, or approval workflows with multiple internal and external parties.
• Working knowledge of NDAs, certificates of insurance, and contractor safety prequalification requirements.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage registers, deadlines, renewals and high volumes of open requests.
• High attention to detail and the ability to review legal, financial, and compliance docs.
• Proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and standard business systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow up with vendors and escalate issues.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks and supplier compliance platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the intake, coordination, tracking, and activation of new vendor and vendor change requests.
• Determine required due diligence level based on spend, scope, site access, and risk.
• Issue and collect onboarding packages including forms, banking, tax, insurance, and safety docs.
• Follow up on outstanding items and escalated onboarding delays to the Procurement Manager.
• Coordinate vendor master setup and changes with Finance and Procurement.
• Coordinate NDAs and onboarding agreements using approved templates and Legal guidance.
• Maintain NDA register with counterparties, dates, scope, and status.
• Confirm executed NDA before sharing confidential information with suppliers.
• Administer vendor prequalification, collect safety programs, licences, and clearance letters.
• Verify insurance certificates and track renewals.
• Monitor site-access approvals and contractor lists.
