Job summary

The Assistant VDC Manager/Coordination role supports planning, coordination, and execution of projects using VDC methods, collaborating with PMs, engineers, and architects to deliver on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of VDC/BIM Coordination experience leading multi-disciplinary coordination meetings.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Commercial construction BIM coordination experience is required.
• Data Center coordination experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in VDC Coordination Management and BIM workflows.
• Experience in Electrical, Mechanical/Plumbing, Civil Underground, and Concrete BIM & VDC.
• Experience using BIM software tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD is a plus.
• Previous experience with general contractor or subcontractor environments (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, etc.).
• Proficiency with Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft/Google Suites.
• Strong project management skills and ability to facilitate coordination meetings.
• Knowledge of advanced modeling techniques and prefabrication strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; confident public speaker and leading meetings with 40+ people.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Available for immediate start.

• Assist in integrating VDC tools to enhance design, planning, and construction workflows.
• Support the management of project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate internal teams and subcontractors to ensure progress aligns with goals.
• Responsible for project setup and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate, accessible, and up-to-date digital models and VDC data.
• Prepare and maintain VDC-related reports, meeting minutes, schedules, and change orders.
• Ensure VDC processes and deliverables meet quality standards and project specifications.
