Job summary

VEC is a leading construction technology services provider in the United States, seeking an Assistant VDC Manager/Coordination to drive planning, coordination, and execution of projects using VDC.

You will collaborate across PMs, engineers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to the desired quality, while leveraging VDC tools to optimize design and construction processes.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of VDC/BIM Coordination experience leading multi-disciplinary coordination meetings.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Commercial construction BIM coordination experience is required.
• Data Center coordination experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in VDC Coordination Management and BIM workflows.
• Experience in using BIM software tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD is a plus.
• Previous experience working for a general contractor or subcontractor (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, etc.).
• Proficiency with Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft/Google Suites.

Responsibilities

• Assist in integrating VDC tools to enhance design, planning, and construction workflows.
• Support the management of project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate internal teams and subcontractors to ensure progress aligns with goals.
• Responsible for project setup and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate, accessible VDC models and data.
• Prepare and maintain VDC-related reports, meeting minutes, schedules, and change orders.
