Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced VDC Designer/Coordinator for remote, nationwide support of low-voltage and building systems coordination across commercial and industrial projects. The role emphasizes BIM/VDC workflows, Revit proficiency, and QA/QC in construction documents with ownership of projects and collaboration across disciplines.

Ideal candidates will review drawings, identify conflicts, and translate requirements into coordinated models while working across multiple U.S. time zones.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional Revit experience.
• Previous BIM/VDC coordination experience.
• Experience coordinating with multiple project disciplines.
• Understanding of workflows from design through coordination and QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate BIM/VDC models utilizing Revit.
• Support BIM coordination efforts for low-voltage and technology systems.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Identify coordination requirements and potential conflicts within architectural and MEP drawings.
• Translate project requirements into coordinated models and construction deliverables.
• Collaborate with multiple design and construction disciplines throughout project lifecycles.
• Participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings and project reviews.
• Review and implement QA/QC feedback into project deliverables.
• Maintain model accuracy and documentation quality standards.
• Independently manage assigned projects and priorities.
• Support projects across multiple U.S. regions and time zones.
