Job summary

Symetri is seeking a Technology Consultant – VDC Specialist to support contractors across the United States in a fully remote capacity. This role blends Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) modeling, BIM coordination, and consulting services to improve project delivery through constructible modeling and clash detection.

The ideal candidate has experience with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM/VDC workflows, with a strong understanding of construction processes and project coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience in VDC, BIM coordination, or related AECO disciplines.
• Strong proficiency with Autodesk Revit.
• Experience with Navisworks Manage for clash detection.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP information.
• Experience working directly with clients and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain constructible BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
• Support MEP and specialty trade modeling for coordination, fabrication, and installation planning.
• Perform model federation, clash detection, and coordination using Navisworks Manage.
• Participate in BIM/VDC coordination meetings with project teams.
• Track, document, and resolve coordination issues with stakeholders.
• Maintain model quality and adherence to project standards.
