Job summary

Amteck seeks a Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Project Manager to lead BIM execution and coordination across electrical design‑build projects. You will develop BIM execution plans, define Level of Detail requirements, review 3D models, and drive clashes resolution using Navisworks, Liquid Cloud, and Open Space.

This role can be fully remote or based at our Lexington, KY headquarters or Greenville, SC office, offering a collaborative, safety‑driven environment with cross‑functional teams and

Qualifications

• Knowledge of BIM/VDC principles and workflows.
• Experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and coordinate collaboration.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams while enforcing safety protocols.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent time management and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop project-specific BIM execution plans and LO D specs.
• Review schedules and coordinate BIM hours with PMs/APMs and Work Package Coordinators.
• Review construction drawings to capture changes affecting BIM efforts.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and ensure project requirements are met.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of 3D models and VDC deliverables using BIM tools.
• Help implement best practices and VDC strategies across projects.
• Keep VDC workflows and standards up to date in project management systems.
• Review installation drawings for compliance with company standards.
• Assist in evaluating new VDC technologies and workflows.
• Set up models for new projects.
