Magna5 seeks a Virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) to guide governance, risk, and security engineering across client environments in a fully remote role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer, Security Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of cyber security principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of cyber security policies and standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and work with stakeholders to mitigate risks.
• Perform security architecture reviews and provide guidance for secure design.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability management.
• Assist in incident response planning and security monitoring activities.
