Job summary

Magna5 is seeking a fully remote Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) to serve as a senior strategic advisor for Magna5 clients. The vCIO partners with client executives to align technology decisions with business priorities, risk reduction, and measurable outcomes while coordinating with Magna5 teams.

The role requires strong business judgment, executive presence, and emotional intelligence, with leadership across strategy, roadmaps, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Translate each client’s goals, constraints, and risk profile into a practical multi-year technology strategy.
• Own, create, maintain, prioritize, and present an integrated, multi-year technology roadmap.
• Help clients understand and plan their complete technology spend, including Magna5 services and third-party vendors.
• Lead monthly strategy sessions and participate in Executive Business Reviews.
• Identify gaps, strategic risks, and improvement opportunities from assessments and priorities.
• Lead the strategic onboarding of new vCIO clients with discovery and roadmap development.
• Provide final strategic review and sign-off for statements of work and quotes.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience
