Job summary

Kinetix Technology Services, LLC. is seeking a Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) for a fully remote, United States–based role.

As a trusted strategic technology advisor, you will develop technology strategies, roadmaps, and budgets that align IT with client business objectives. You will lead technology reviews with executives, coordinate with cybersecurity teams, and recommend solutions across platforms such as Cisco Meraki, Microsoft Intune, Azure, Jamf MDM, Okta, and CrowdStrike,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional information technology experience, with broad knowledge of IT infrastructure and lifecycle management.
• Demonstrated client-facing experience in a consultative or advisory role, including presenting strategies to executives.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments, servers, cloud infrastructure, networking, and modern business technology solutions.
• Experience evaluating technology environments, identifying opportunities, and supporting IT initiatives.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary strategic technology advisor for assigned clients and executives.
• Lead technology strategy meetings, business reviews, and present findings in business terms.
• Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps, budgets, and lifecycle plans aligned with client objectives.
• Evaluate client environments to identify risks and modernization opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely delivery of vCIO services.
• Partner with Cybersecurity Services to integrate security and compliance considerations into proposals.
