Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services is seeking a Medical Examiner to conduct Compensation & Pension Examinations for Veterans pursuing VA disability benefits. You will review claims, perform focused medical evaluations, assess records, and render objective opinions based on the examination and documentation.

The position may require charting from home and up to 10% travel to other Loyal Source clinics. Candidates must hold an active medical license, work independently and collaboratively,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical disability examinations and review medical history.
• Review and analyze medical records and diagnostic data.
• Render objective medical opinions based on exam findings and records.
• Manage case workload and communicate with QA and team.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to obtain necessary information.
• Document findings in VA-compliant reports and maintain confidentiality.
• Coordinate with Loyal Source departments to meet deadlines and resources.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and VA training requirements.
