Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems is seeking a V&V Tech Lead to join our team, with offices in Palo Alto, San Jose, or Houston, or fully remote in the US. You will lead verification and validation campaigns for flight software and simulation systems, guiding the overall V&V strategy and roadmap.

You will design and execute comprehensive test plans, develop HIL/SIL procedures, champion test automation, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure mission software meets requirements.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or permanent resident required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field; four additional years may substitute for a degree.
• 15 years of software V&V experience.
• Experience authoring test procedures and managing defects.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive software verification plans for flight software and CFE.
• Develop and execute test procedures in HIL/SIL environments and document results.
• Own V&V lifecycle and roadmap for flight software testing.
• Lead test automation initiatives to reduce errors and manual steps.
• Act as subject matter expert for test processes in reviews.
