Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems is seeking a V&V Tech Lead to guide verification and validation campaigns for flight software and simulation systems, with offices in Palo Alto, CA, San Jose, CA or Houston, TX, and a remote US option.

You will lead comprehensive verification plans, drive automation, and own the V&V lifecycle, while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes test automation, SME leadership, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field (4 extra years of experience may substitute).
• 15 years of software V&V experience required.
• Experience authoring test procedures and driving process improvements.
• Experience with technical writing and cross-functional stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute software verification plans for flight software.
• Develop and execute requirement- and use case-based tests in HIL/SIL environments.
• Own V&V lifecycle and validation strategy across test phases.
• Lead test automation initiatives to reduce manual effort.
• Serve as SME for test processes and participate in Build Delivery Reviews.
• Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, data acquisition).
