Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems is seeking a Manager of Avionics Engineering in San Jose, CA, with remote work options within the U.S. You will lead an engineering team responsible for Avionics Unit Development, C&DH architecture, and hardware procurement, working with Systems Engineering and AIT to ensure successful hand-offs.

You will mentor engineers, manage budgets and schedules, and drive architecture roadmaps across spacecraft platforms.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field; M.S. preferred.
• 8+ years in aerospace or related field with leadership of engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Spacecraft Subsystem C&DH design, data handling, and wirelist development.
• Mentor and develop team members; provide opportunities for growth.
• Ensure high quality deliverables to stakeholders; collaborate cross-functionally.
• Own portfolio budget and schedule; manage risks and opportunities.
