Job summary

Instrumental is seeking a UX Design Strategist to blend UX strategy, web design, and creativity for thoughtful, high-performing digital experiences. You will lead discovery, translate goals into website experiences, and develop wireframes and visuals while collaborating with project managers and developers.

The role emphasizes collaboration, strong organization, and ownership, with a proactive stance on evolving UX methods and AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in UX, web design or related field.
Strong UX thinking and visual design capabilities.
Experience with modern UX methodologies and user-centered principles.
Proficiency with Sketch, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication, client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

Lead discovery and strategy for website redesign projects with client research and workshops.
Translate goals, user needs and SEO considerations into thoughtful experiences.
Develop wireframes, page designs and visual concepts following best practices.
Present concepts to clients and explain the strategic rationale.
Create digital marketing assets and collaborate across internal teams to implement designs.
Support website implementation and QA to ensure quality and consistency.
Stay current with UX methods, trends and new technologies.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines with high quality.
