You will ideate on new and innovative concepts and develop wireframes and specifications. You and your visual design partner will design new systems and keep up with the current one. You will be working in-house with a unique opportunity to incubate and deliver the final product unlike other design teams that you may have been part of. You will work on a wide range of challenging commerce and logistics problems with other design team members and product managers.

You are a rounded user experience designer who is well versed in the design process and able to self propel. You are looking to be challenged, and excited to be a part of a dynamic and talented team that really believes in the design process. You can easily communicate your ideas in whatever medium best serves them. Your ideas are founded by logic, and critical thinking, and you enjoy showing your process through your work. In short: you rally behind and with the team and show leadership through design.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years professional design experience with an emphasis on interaction design.
  • Has a proven track record of outstanding conceptual and tangible design.
  • Applies critical thinking and delivers high quality designs.
  • Understands good design processes with a demonstrated ability to apply these.
  • Can conduct user research and usability tests. Is able to synthesize the results.
  • Transform the ideated experience into interfaces.
  • Has an adventurous soul - is not afraid of trying new things and being able to communicate new concepts in many different media such as sketches, wireframes, storyboards, flow diagrams and prototypes.
  • Has a strong understanding of web standards and best practices.
  • Is able to work with UI patterns and a visual style guide.
  • Having an eye for visual design is a plus.
  • Works well with others.
  • Has effective communication skills, and strong organizational skills.
  • Is able to present a Portfolio.
  • BA or BFA with emphasis on Interaction Design, BA/BS in Cognitive Factors, Industrial Design, Architecture, or other Design related field
