Job summary

Linda Werner & Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly organized Project Manager to support a high-volume UX Research vendor operations function.

This remote role will own vendor engagements from intake through contract execution, PO issuance, and invoicing, ensuring every engagement keeps moving. The team handles over 700 UX Research projects annually, offering exposure across a broad portfolio and visibility into products and experiences being developed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in project coordination/management/program management, procurement, vendor management, or operations.
• Experience independently owning workstreams from start to finish.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Experience using AI tools to increase productivity, efficiency, and throughput.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with peers, stakeholders, and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for UX Researchers navigating vendor and procurement processes.
• Own engagements from intake through SOW creation, PO issuance, and invoicing.
• Manage a portfolio of active engagements and ensure continuous progress toward completion.
• Coordinate across researchers, contract associates, vendors, approvers, and leadership.
• Proactively follow up with stakeholders and create urgency when actions are outstanding.
• Identify blockers quickly, propose solutions, elevate as needed, and drive resolution.
• Provide proactive written updates covering progress, risks, dependencies, and blockers.
• Anticipate stakeholder needs and potential issues to avoid delays.
• Maintain accurate KPI and SLA tracking and ensure data integrity.
• Maintain vendor resources, process docs, team wikis, and toolkits.
• Identify recurring friction and suggest process improvements.
• Manage projects implementing process improvements.
• Provide guidance on compliance policies for vendor engagements.
