Job summary

Devoted Health is hiring a Remote Utilization Management Coordinator to support Clinical Operations. You will manage intake, set up prior authorizations, and coordinate with members, providers, and clinical teams to drive timely, high-quality care decisions.

The role requires strong organization and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include intake management, authorization support, clinical coordination, post-discharge care, and operational reporting.

Qualifications

• Required experience in healthcare operations, utilization management, care coordination, or prior authorization.
• Proficiency with healthcare systems, EHRs, and reporting tools.
• Strong communication with providers and members; organized in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Intake Management: Monitor intake queues, validate daily census, manage referrals and case routing.
• Prior Authorization Support: Set up authorizations, handle inquiries, review inpatient status and clinical docs.
• Clinical Coordination & Communication: Outreach to members/providers, schedule peer-to-peer reviews, track Medical Director assignments.
• Post-Discharge & Transitional Care Coordination: Confirm admissions/discharges, assist with discharge planning.
• Operational & Reporting Support: Review Looker/Snowflake reports; RFIs and case tracking; maintain case status.
