Job summary

Devoted Health is seeking an Utilization Management Coordinator for a fully remote, full-time role. You will oversee intake, prior authorization, and clinical coordination workflows, ensuring timely case entry and accurate authorizations while engaging providers and members with proactive communication.

The position supports CMS audits and evolving guidance, requiring exceptional organization, attention to detail, and strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in healthcare operations, utilization management, care coordination, or prior authorization.
• Proficiency with healthcare systems, EHRs, and reporting tools.
• Effective communication skills with providers and members.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-volume environment.
• Attention to detail, follow-through, and time management in a frequently changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Intake Management: Monitor intake queues, validate census, manage correspondence, ensure referrals entered or rerouted.
• Prior Authorization Support: Set up authorizations, resolve inquiries, review inpatient status and documentation, obtain RFCs and EHR access.
• Clinical Coordination & Communication: Conduct outbound calls, coordinate peer-to-peer reviews, manage assignments and records.
• Post-Discharge & Transitional Care Coordination: Confirm admissions/discharges, census checks, assist with discharge planning.
• Operational & Reporting Support: Review reports, support RFIs, maintain case status and docs.
