Job summary

CorroHealth Inc. is seeking a Coordinator, Utilization Management for a remote role within the US. You will manage the authorization process end to end, maintain records, verify eligibility, and liaise with payers to facilitate timely determinations.

The position requires a high school diploma (associate preferred), 2 years in hospital billing or authorization, and proficiency with EMR systems (Epic) and MS Office. We offer full-time hours, remote work, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree preferred in healthcare administration or related field.
• 2 years of experience in hospital billing/follow-up/healthcare setting/authorization.
• Knowledge of managed care contracts or payer processes.
• Experience with EMR systems, Epic preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office; strong communication and organization skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Authorization process end to end from initial notification to discharge.
• Maintain detailed documentation in the EMR and internal CorroHealth systems.
• Verify correct eligibility and benefits for patients.
• Liaise between hospital staff and Health Payer to facilitate information sharing.
• Review filing guidelines for utilization management processes.
• Track and follow up with payers on pending authorizations for timely responses.
• Identify and escalate issues causing delays or denials.
• Maintain workload and records with timely follow up and accuracy.
