Bentley Systems, Incorporated in the Americas region seeks an experienced Application Engineer, Energy, Utilities & Digital Grid Solutions to serve as a technical subject matter expert. This role spans a broad portfolio, connecting customer challenges with Bentley technologies and workflows.

This is an individual contributor position that collaborates with Account Managers, Solution Engineers, Product Management, and Professional Services to demonstrate business value and support evaluations

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in electric utilities, power generation, renewable energy, or related field.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Experience working directly with users, engineering teams, or customers.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to both engineering and business audiences.

Responsibilities

Support sales pursuits through technical discovery, demonstrations, and POC activities.
Participate in customer meetings to understand business challenges and technical requirements.
Translate industry challenges into solution-based recommendations.
Collaborate with Solution Engineers and Account Managers on strategic opportunities.
Deliver presentations to technical and executive audiences.
