Job summary

Siemens seeks a Business Development Professional with a strong technical background in electrical protection and control, energy automation, focused on utilities adoption of Siemens substation automation, protection and renewable integration technologies. The role emphasizes collaboration with utilities, design consultants, OEMs, integrators and EPCs in the region.

This REMOTE position will be based in the Northeast/Atlantic region of the USA, preferably in the Eastern Time Zone.

Qualifications

Five (5) or more years in a business development, sales, or technical engineering role in energy protection & control and energy automation.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electrical Engineering or related.
Proven technical knowledge in electrical power systems with strong acumen for CAMs.
Proven ability to connect to senior executives within Utilities, linking tech and business cases.
Experience with application software for Protection & Control and Energy Automation.

Responsibilities

Drive innovation in the Utility space using Siemens technologies.
Promote energy transition and renewable integration tech.
Collaborate with internal sales, engineering, bid management and specialists to form an effective go-to-market.
Drive profitable growth of the portfolio in industrial and infrastructure markets.
