Job summary

ORC is seeking a Utilities Project Manager to lead right of way projects for utility clients, owning scope, schedule, budget, and quality from kickoff through closeout.

You will direct a project team of at least five, serve as the primary client contact, monitor financials and staffing, and ensure compliance with regulations and client requirements. This role offers remote work from MI with residency in permitted states.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years managing Right of Way projects
• Minimum of 1 year of experience leading project teams
• Prior experience creating/maintaining project schedules
• Proficient with MS Office Suite — specifically Excel, Word, Dropbox, and Outlook
• An iOS or Android smartphone to access ORC’s systems
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of right of way projects for utility clients — owning scope, schedule, budget, and quality from kickoff through closeout
• Direct and support a project team of at least 5 team members, balancing workloads and removing roadblocks
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering clear status reporting and building lasting relationships
• Monitor project financials, forecasts, and staffing plans
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project guidelines, client requirements, and applicable regulations
• Support proposals, pricing, and business development for new work
