WellStreet Urgent Care is seeking a remote supervising physician to provide clinical oversight and support for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in our urgent care network. The role requires residency in South Carolina and SC medical board eligibility, with certification and active license to practice medicine in SC.

You will oversee APP documentation, offer guidance on high-risk cases, and participate in quality improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with state laws and Prisma

Formación

• Board certified or board eligible and licensed to practice medicine in South Carolina.
• Current DEA registration.
• Experience with urgent care procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses.
• Experience reading diagnostic studies such as X-rays and EKGs.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical oversight and consultation to APPs during supervision or coverage periods.
• Review and co-sign APP documentation as required by law and policy.
• Offer clinical guidance, escalate high-risk cases, and adjust plans of care as needed.
• Support APP practice within the physician supervision framework and prescriptive authority.
• Participate in quality improvement and peer review activities related to APP practice.
