Placements24 is seeking a proactive Underwriting Assistant to join a fully remote team. You will support the underwriting department with administrative tasks, gather information, and ensure smooth processing of insurance applications.

This role is ideal for an organized individual looking to build a career in the insurance sector from home. You will manage correspondence, organize documents for underwriting reviews, input data into systems, and communicate with agents and clients to resolve

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent; insurance coursework or certification is a plus.
• Prior administrative experience, preferably in insurance or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for remote work.

Responsabilidades

• Provide administrative support to underwriters, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining files.
• Assist in gathering and organizing necessary documentation for underwriting reviews, such as applications, financial statements, and loss history reports.
• Input data into underwriting systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
• Communicate with agents, brokers, and clients to request missing information or clarify application details.
• Prepare policy documents and related paperwork for issuance.
• Assist with monitoring the status of applications and following up on outstanding items.
• Support underwriters in various tasks related to risk assessment and policy issuance.
