Job summary

Amynta Group in the United States is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to support submissions, quotes, binding and policy administration across US and UK operations. You will record submissions, monitor processes, and ensure timely responses with underwriters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 2–5 years of active experience within the insurance sector preferred.
• Remote work capability with strong time-management and self-discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage submission recording and tracking for US and UK underwriting.
• Oversee use of reinsurance capacity per transaction and ensure approvals.
• Finalize documents with underwriters and ensure timely policy recording.
• Maintain underwriting files and liaise with Operations, Finance & Accounting for billing and reserves.
• Prepare reports and distribute bordereaux; monitor monthly activities.
• Support development and utilization of the underwriting system.
