Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 1–3 years of P&C insurance experience.
• Familiarity with Commercial Auto, CGL, and Excess liability preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to accurate underwriting documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn underwriting systems.
• Willingness to learn and develop underwriting knowledge over time.

Responsibilities

• Support underwriters through new business and renewal processes.
• Prepare underwriting summaries, account worksheets, and exposure analyses.
• Review loss runs for frequency, severity, and trends.
• Coordinate account activity and maintain underwriting files.
• Draft correspondence and communicate with brokers and clients.
• Ensure timely submission of required information and inspections.
