Brown & Brown, Inc. is seeking a Contract Surety Underwriter Associate to join our team. This remote role supports the Contract Surety team with bond submissions, underwriting tasks, and client communication from Pennsylvania.

The successful candidate will review submissions, prepare documentation, and coordinate underwriting requirements while delivering exceptional service to clients and carriers.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance, financial services, administration, or related office environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Strong data entry and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and underwriting support to producers and underwriters.
• Review bond submissions for completeness and accuracy.
• Enter submissions, account information, and bond requests into agency systems.
• Order and review financial, business, and credit information.
• Prepare bond applications, indemnity agreements, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate outstanding underwriting requirements.
• Issue bonds and process invoicing after approval.
• Communicate with clients, obligees, producers, and surety companies.
