Job summary

First American Trust is seeking an Unclaimed Property Specialist to ensure items are reviewed, researched, and disbursed accurately while staying compliant with policies and regulations. You will analyze checks, serve as the main contact for branches and customers, and escalate complex issues with solid recommendations.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2–3 years in related fields, with proficiency in FAST, TrustLink, and Microsoft Office. Remote work options are available nationwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2–3 years of unclaimed property, escrow operations, accounting, banking, title, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of department processes, industry practices, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and research outstanding checks per company procedures and regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for escrow branches and customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
• Evaluate complex issues and elevate to management with research and recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, mitigate risk, and enhance operational efficiency.
