Job summary

Esaote North America is seeking an Ultrasound Field Service Engineer to support customers throughout the Pacific Northwest. This home-based role installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs Esaote ultrasound equipment while delivering high-quality customer service.

The engineer works independently within the territory, collaborating with Technical Support, Sales, Applications, and other internal teams to drive customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for service improvement and growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronic Technology, Biomedical Equipment Technology, or related field.
• Strong troubleshooting theory and electronics background.
• Proficiency with electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering).

Responsibilities

• Field Service and Technical Operations – 85% focus on installing, maintaining, repairing ultrasound equipment.
• Respond to service dispatches promptly and meet targets for response time and utilization.
• Build strong customer relationships with professional, responsive service.
• Diagnose and repair ultrasound equipment; perform preventive maintenance.
• Escalate complex issues to Technical Support and coordinate resolutions.
• Document service calls and maintain accurate customer records.
• Manage travel and expenses within territory and support depot repair when needed.
• Collaborate with Sales and Applications teams and assist with product demonstrations.
