Job summary

Esaote North America is seeking an Ultrasound Field Service Engineer to support customers across the Pacific Northwest from a home-based location. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Esaote ultrasound equipment while delivering first-class customer service.

The role requires extensive travel within the territory, collaboration with Technical Support, Sales, and Applications teams, and participation in customer demonstrations and events to grow the installed base and

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent military tech training.
• Fundamental understanding of electronic tech, electrical systems, troubleshooting theory.
• Proficiency with electrical test equipment: oscilloscopes, DVMs, multimeters, soldering.
• Ability to diagnose problems and perform routine repairs independently.
• Strong customer-service, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Pacific Northwest, including overnight travel.
• Ability to work from a home-based location within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Field Service and Technical Operations – 85% of time, owning customer satisfaction and service metrics.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Esaote ultrasound equipment.
• Respond to service dispatches within 15 minutes and schedule work within 24 hours.
• Meet response-time, call completion, productivity, and utilization targets.
• Perform preventive maintenance within 45 days of target date.
• Escalate complex issues to Technical Support for timely resolution.
• Collaborate with Sales, Applications, and Support teams as needed.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and reports weekly.
