Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an experienced UKG Functional Consultant to support an enterprise AMS engagement. You will lead transition, knowledge transfer, stabilization, and steady-state support for UKG Workforce Management across timekeeping, scheduling, payroll and related processes.

The role requires 8+ years in UKG/Kronos, strong ITIL-aligned incident management, and ability to collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in UKG/Kronos Workforce Management.
• Strong functional expertise in UKG Workforce Management business processes.
• Proven experience in enterprise production support / AMS engagements.
• Hands-on experience in UKG configuration and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of Time & Attendance, Scheduling, Accruals, and Payroll-related processes.
• Experience handling P1/P2 and other business-critical production incidents.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Knowledge Management.
• Strong analytical and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder and customer management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Transition & knowledge transfer sessions with incumbent teams and stakeholders.
• Understand UKG landscape, configurations, interfaces and dependencies.
• Review SOPs, runbooks, documentation and known-error databases.
• Provide L2/L3 functional support for UKG applications.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve functional incidents within SLAs.
• Support timekeeping, scheduling, payroll-related processes and leave management.
• Perform RCA for recurring incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate with HR, Payroll, IT on integrations and changes.
• Prepare functional specs and configuration documentation.
• Support testing, releases and patches from a functional perspective.
• Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
