Job summary

Cala Health seeks a UI/UX Designer to own the design of Cala's digital experiences across web and mobile. You will champion visual and interaction design, creating a cohesive design language and end-to-end UI specifications for a medical device environment.

Collaborating with Product and Engineering, you will translate requirements into user flows, conduct VOC research, usability testing, and ensure accessibility across platforms, including iOS/Android. Remote or Hybrid options available.

Qualifications

3+ years in digital UI/UX or product design for web and mobile.
Experience with HIPAA/PHI data privacy in healthcare.
Strong visual design and interaction design skills.
Accessibility standards (WCAG) knowledge.
Portfolio showing end-to-end UX across platforms.

Responsibilities

Own visual design and UX flows across web and mobile (iOS/Android).
Create Cala's design language and system, tokens, and handoff.
Conduct VOC research, usability testing with Product Management.
Partner with product and engineering on multimodal UI and data visualizations.
Lead design reviews and scale design ops in a regulated medical device environment.
