Job summary

Cala Health is seeking a UI/UX Designer to own the design of Cala9s digital experiences across web and mobile. You will champion the creative vision and lead end-to-end visual and interaction design.

You will collaborate with Product and Engineering to create a cohesive design language, translate requirements into user flows, and document designs for engineering handoff. Hybrid/remote options apply, with onsite 3 days per week in SF.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of digital UI/UX or product design with shipped web and mobile products (healthcare preferred).
• Deep knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design.
• Experience with medical device usability engineering standards (IEC 62366, FDA guidance).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum with Product, Engineering, QA.
• Portfolio showing end-to-end UX across connected platforms.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end design execution across web and mobile (iOS/Android) with accessibility in mind.
• Data visualization and dashboards turning complex data into insights.
• Design language and system development with tokens and components.
• User research and validation with VOC, usability testing.
• Develop multimodal UI across connected devices with product/engineering.
• Document design specs and maintain handoff-ready materials.
• Lead cross-functional design reviews and scale design ops.
