Job summary

Cala Health is hiring a UI/UX Designer to own Cala’s digital experiences across web and mobile. You will champion the visual and interaction design, collaborating with Product and Engineering to create a cohesive design language and end-to-end flows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of digital UI/UX design with shipped web and mobile products.
• Experience with healthcare platforms under HIPAA/PHI.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG accessibility and inclusive design.
• Familiar with medical device usability standards (IEC 62366, FDA guidance).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end visual design and UX across web and mobile (iOS/Android).
• Design data visualizations and dashboards for clinical insights.
• Develop Cala’s design system and tokens for scalable front-end.
• Lead design reviews and collaborate with product, engineering, QA.
• Produce design docs, redlines, and specs for handoff.
