Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to craft intuitive, accessible experiences for enterprise financial applications. You will transform complex business and regulatory requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and scalable design systems while ensuring accessibility and enterprise standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Product Owners, Analysts, and engineers, plus ongoing usability testing, research, and design-system work.

Qualifications

5+ years of UI/UX design experience in enterprise SaaS/financial services contexts.
Strong expertise in Figma, wireframing, interactive prototyping, and design systems.
Hands-on usability testing, user research, and stakeholder workshops.
Solid understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards.
Experience designing data-rich applications, dashboards, and workflow-driven platforms.

Responsibilities

Design user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, dashboards, and interaction models for enterprise financial applications.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Operations teams, clients, and engineering to simplify complex workflows.
Conduct user research, discovery workshops, and usability testing to identify user needs and optimize experiences.
Develop and maintain design systems, UI standards, component libraries, and reusable design patterns.
Apply accessibility best practices including Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 compliance across interfaces.
