Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to create intuitive experiences for enterprise financial applications supporting transfer agency operations, securities servicing, and dashboards. You will translate complex regulatory requirements into user-centered designs, wireframes, and scalable design systems.

In this remote US role, you will collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, and engineers, conduct user research and usability testing, and ensure accessibility and WCAG compliance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UI/UX design within enterprise SaaS or financial services.
• Strong expertise in Figma, wireframing, interactive prototyping, and design systems.
• Hands-on usability testing, user research, and stakeholder workshops.
• Solid understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards.
• Experience designing data-rich applications, dashboards, and workflow platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, dashboards, and interaction models for enterprise financial applications.
• Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Operations teams, clients, and engineering stakeholders to simplify complex transfer agency and fixed income workflows.
• Conduct user research, discovery workshops, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to identify user needs and optimize experiences.
• Develop and maintain design systems, UI standards, component libraries, and reusable design patterns.
• Apply accessibility best practices including Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 compliance across all user interfaces.
