Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to create intuitive, accessible experiences for complex financial applications supporting transfer agency operations, securities servicing, and related workflows.

You will transform regulatory requirements into user-centered designs, wireframes, prototypes, and scalable design systems, ensuring WCAG compliance and enterprise standards across dashboards and data-rich interfaces. Collaboration with product, engineering, and operations is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UI/UX design experience within enterprise SaaS or financial services.
• Strong expertise in Figma, wireframing, interactive prototyping, and design systems.
• Hands-on experience conducting usability testing, user research, and stakeholder workshops.
• Solid understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards.

Responsibilities

• Design user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, dashboards, and interaction models for enterprise financial applications.
• Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Operations teams, clients, and engineering to simplify complex workflows.
• Conduct user research, discovery workshops, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to identify user needs.
• Develop and maintain design systems, UI standards, component libraries, and reusable patterns.
• Apply accessibility best practices including 508 and WCAG 2.1 compliance.
