Job summary
Acuity is seeking a highly skilled UC&C Support Engineer to serve as the primary technical authority for Unified Communications and Collaboration solutions. This role focuses on RoomSuite Simplified Collaboration Spaces,Teams integration, USB/HID peripherals, PTZ cameras, and Windows management systems across cloud and on-premises environments.
The role bridges Engineering, Product Management, Support, and customers, diagnosing complex issues, validating fixes with development teams, and driving
Qualifications
- Bachelors or advanced degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar discipline.
- Minimum 5 years troubleshooting USB, HID, PTZ cameras and UC&C systems protocols.
- Minimum 3 years troubleshooting Q-SYS or similar Linux-based AV systems.
- Minimum 2 years experience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and Jira."
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced UC&C support and troubleshooting for RoomSuite Simplified Collaboration Spaces.
- Diagnose and reproduce software defects and validate fixes with development teams.
- Lead training, establish troubleshooting methodologies and support best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering to improve diagnostics, system visibility and tooling.
