Job summary

YOUNGWILLIAMS INC is seeking a User Acceptance Tester to proactively collaborate with operations, development, and QA to analyze requirements and verify functionality. You will design and execute UAT plans, document results, and coordinate issue resolution across teams.

The role emphasizes automation awareness, AI-assisted testing, and clear communication to ensure quality releases. Remote-friendly with full-time hours in MS Ridgeland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience is required.
• Experience with software testing (writing test cases and detailed test scripts).
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestRail).
• Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate test case generation and defect analysis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate testing efforts with internal teams to obtain accurate user scenarios.
• Create clear, detailed UAT test plans and scripts.
• Execute tests, document results, and report issues to developers for resolution.
• Triaging time-sensitive system issues and coordinating across business units.
• Develop and maintain release notes, user manuals, and training material.
• Provide constructive feedback to the software development team and verify resolutions.
• Maintain up-to-date business knowledge and ensure successful deployments.
