Job summary

Insight Global in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Automation Engineer to join a finance client. You will build and maintain automation frameworks, run UI and API tests with Playwright, and leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate QA processes.

The role requires 7+ years in automation, strong collaboration with stakeholders, and the ability to translate requirements into automated tests. Hybrid onsite in Charlotte with monthly on-site visits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Automation Engineering/QA Automation experience with strong test design skills.
• Experience developing and building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong understanding of automation testing fundamentals and best practices.
• Experience testing both UI and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools.

Location: Charlotte, NC (onsite Tues/Wed), or if not local, can be remote but will need to come onsite in Charlotte, NC once a month

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of Automation Engineering/QA Automation experience

About the Role

Insight Global is looking for a strong Automation Engineer to join an existing team with one of our clients within the financial industry. This resource will be expected to have a strong background of automation testing and building frameworks from scratch. Candidate must be strong and have proven hands on experience with Playwright, testing UIs and APIs. This role will require professional experience utilizing and working with AI agents and commands. Candidate must also be comfortable and have experience working with business owners and fuctional teams for requirement gathering. This is a hybrid position sitting in Charlotte, NC.
