Job summary

Sardine is hiring a detail-oriented UAT Analyst to evaluate complex systems, develop and execute test plans, and ensure quality across Sardine’s API-driven platform. You will collaborate with customers, product and engineering teams to test and support product development in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

The role requires hands-on testing across dashboards, APIs, and mobile SDKs, with strong SQL, REST API, and Postman proficiency, and a focus on quality in fintech settings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a UAT or functional testing role at banks/fintechs.
• Experience supporting B2B SaaS products and/or working with banking infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency with SQL (joins, multi-table queries).
• Understanding of REST API and use of tools like Postman.
• Ability to write Eval for AI Products.
• Ability to write structured test plans, along with step-by-step manual test scripts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers, business stakeholders, and product owners to understand user requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for Sardine's product, including our dashboard, APIs, and mobile SDKs.
• Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers to ensure they are resolved before release.
• Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Sardine to effectively predict, test, and prevent product issues.
• Stay updated on product enhancements, new features, and industry best practices.
• Perform root cause analysis on defects or system failures to identify underlying issues affecting application performance or stability.
• Maintain documentation of test cases, test scripts, test results, and quality assurance reports in accordance with QA standards.
• Provide technical support during release management cycles; assist in troubleshooting deployment issues within cloud environments like GCP or AWS.
