Stride, Inc. seeks a part-time TVI contractor to support students with visual impairments in a virtual setting. This state-certified teacher will work under IEP guidance, serving as Teacher of Record for eligible students across multiple schools.

The role is remote, with hours Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, and may require licensure in multiple states. Independent consultant (1099) status applies, with strong collaboration with families and school staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in public school environment as a TVI.
• State-specific educator license in Visual Impairments or related field.

Responsabilités

• Provide services per IEPs for visually impaired students.
• Collaborate with IEP team to schedule attendance and participation.
• Develop progress reports and required documentation.
• Utilize assistive technology and accessible materials.
• Serve as Teacher of Record for assigned caseload.
• Maintain records and data for progress toward goals.
• Communicate with families and school staff regularly.
