Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a part-time TVI contractor to provide services to eligible students with visual impairments in a virtual environment. The role operates as an Independent Consultant (1099) with a flexible schedule, typically 8am–5pm, Mon–Fri.

Responsibilities include collaborating with IEP teams, documenting progress, and using assistive technologies to personalize learning. Candidates must have a valid TVI license and at least two years in a public school setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in public school environment as a TVI.
• State educator license in Visual Impairments or related field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IEP team to deliver services in a virtual setting.
• Instruct students and families in communication strategies and technologies.
• Maintain records and progress notes for compliance and reporting.
• Serve as Teacher of Record (TOR) for assigned caseload.
• Coordinate with schools and parents to maximize attendance and participation.
