Stride, Inc. invites applications for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) contractor to support students with visual impairments in a virtual, state- and IEP-driven setting.

The role is Independent Consultant (1099), part-time, Monday–Friday between 8 am and 5 pm. Candidates should have a valid TVI license, strong communication skills, and experience with assistive technology in a remote learning environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in public school environment as a TVI.
• State educator license in Visual Impairments or related field required.
• Experience teaching in an online/virtual environment desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide services per IEPs for students with visual impairments.
• Collaborate with families and teachers to schedule and monitor student attendance.
• Maintain records and progress reports for compliance and IEP goals.
• Deliver instruction via virtual platforms and adapt materials for accessibility.
